Hey folks,

It’s been quote a while since the last update but unfortunately that’s because there has been no forward progress made since February.

The Elmwood Subdivion layout is no more. The only thing remaining of it are the bare, wood frames now sitting in my garage.

I had originally decided to redo the layout fresh with a new, better trackplan suited for modules but that got put on the back burners for a variety of reasons.

Will a new layout ever come around? Probably but only when/if we purchase a house. I decided to give up on trying to build a layout, even modular, as long as there’s still a chance we’d move again in a few years.

So till then…

I’ve also been playing around with a new layout plan for the new space.  Might use this move as an opportunity to improve on a couple things.

Good news! I’m be turning in a deposit today for a new leased house that has enough space that I’ll be able to put the layout in it’s own room inside.  So it looks like the layout may live on.

Now the question will be… will those hidden staging tracks line up after reassembly!?!

This week I’ll start the diss-assembly for moving in about 2-3 weeks, just ahead of the “big” move.
